Everyone is looking for a good deal. Today we have these places like Groupon, Living Social and Deal Chicken. But is it worth it to spend less and get below par services? I'm not saying that every Day Spa that is offering these specials are giving clients less than stellar services, but unfortunately, that has been my experience. Yesterday, I had one of the worst facials ever. It started off when I had to wait 30 minutes for my service. That was the highlight, it went downhill after that. The room was barren and cold. There was no sheets or blankets on the bed, I had to ask for a blanket. The lights were so bright. I'm not even sure the woman was an esthetician, never asked me if I had skin allergies. She had shoes on that made so much noise as she was walking back and force getting everything ready. I had to peeked to see what in the world she was doing, I still have no idea. When she was finally ready she sits down and says "Okay let's start". I never knew that a cleansing ended at the chin, see I learn something new everyday. The extractions were more painful than childbirth. My nose is still sore. She would start and then stop the massage part, first the chest for a few minutes, then the face. All the time the music she was playing was a techno spa type. My husband asked me why didn't I just get up and leave? I wanted my $29 worth.
When she was finished, didn't even get a full hour, she didn't even wait for me to get dressed, started pressuring me to buy more facials. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.
The reason I am telling you about this experience is that Erin, Kathy and I pledge to everyone who comes to see us our best. I don't care if you have a complimentary service or are paying you will get 100% from us. We love what we do and want everyone to get the most from their visit. This is our commitment to you!
